Get Out on the Water with Venture Outdoors
Venture Outdoors is a Pittsburgh based non-profit organization started in 2001 and is an excellent resource for those looking to enjoy some time out on the water this summer!
Venture Outdoors has two docks to choose from, with a location Downtown on the Allegheny River by the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and up in North Park, at the North Park Lake Boathouse.
In addition to other outdoor experiences, they offer solo and tandem kayak rentals, paddleboard rentals and more, including private kayaking outings for groups of ten plus and paddle classes for those diving into aquatic activities for the first time.
